How to Save Research to Knowledge

Capture research the moment you do it, with enough structure that it is findable later.

    Two ways to save:

    1. From a deal card — click "Save To Knowledge" to create an entry linked to the parcel.
    2. Directly from /knowledge — click "New Knowledge Entry" and pick a template.

    What to fill in:

    • Title: be specific. "Bannock County water tap fees — 2026" beats "Water info".
    • Category: choose the closest match. You can change it later.
    • Short Description: one line a teammate could read to know if this is what they need.
    • Research Notes: the actual content — call notes, links, fee tables, dates, names.
    • Location fields (State / County / City / Road / Parcel): the more you fill in, the better Related Knowledge works.
    • Tags: how you and your team naturally talk about the topic.
    • Last Verified Date: when this information was confirmed accurate.

Use a Template when possible. Templates pre-fill Category, Tags, and a structured Notes outline so entries stay consistent across your team.
